"Do to others as you would have them do to you." - Luke 6:31, NIV
...and who is my neighbor?
Our church is located in an area with a wide ethnic diversity and our mission is to be a community that reflects that diversity and the diversity of the Body of Christ. We welcome people of all ethnic backgrounds with great enthusiasm!
Our church includes many women of all ages. We have many different studies during the year that focus on being a woman in Christ and provide many opportunities for women’s fellowship in the church. The are also periodic women’s study groups throughout the year which focus on a wide range of topics.
For the past few years our church has participates in the Iron Sharpens Iron men’s conference. There are also periodic men’s bible study groups throughout the year.
Currently the men are meeting to focus on how to defend their faith through apologetics studies.
CBC has conducted both domestic and international missions trips. In addition to periodic missions trips, the church has several members who are personally or have family involved in long and short term missions. CBC also supports the kingdom work by supporting established Christian organizations, e.g., International Mission Board and more.
Young Adult, Youth, & Children
We have young several opportunities for fellowship, trips, missions and other activities for young people from nursery to college aged and young professional aduls. There are also separate studies for different age groups on Sunday Mornings (9:15 AM before Church) & Wednesday evenings (at 6:00 PM).

This group of senior church members actively participate in the many ministries of the church. In addition, they sponsor annual ministries such as: Operation Gratitude (correspondence and supplies for our military), sponsor a child through Compassion International, join other churches to provide warm clothing for the homeless, and provide a “shut-in” ministry where they communicate with those church members who are unable to attend with visits, cards, and calls.
They also meet monthly for a luncheon and fellowship as well as coordinate and participate in trips and excursions outside the church. The gentlemen in this group (called the ROMEOS – Retired Old Men Eating Out), and the ladies (called the Juliets)- meet monthly at local restaurants for fun and fellowship.
