Minister to Youth and Young Adults

Claire McAuliffe

Claire grew up with us at Cambridge Baptist and has moved back to Richmond after college and three years in Fairfax, Virginia. She is an alumna of James Madison University where she received her Master of Arts in Teaching for Secondary Education. She has been a high school English teacher for Glen Allen High School, but she now serves as Executive Director for a campus women's ministry, Sigma Alpha Omega Christian Sorority, Inc.

Claire returned to Cambridge in July 2015 and has been our Youth Ministry and Young Adult Ministry Leader since September 2015. She lives in a small house with her husband Will along with two "fur babies" Paddy (Cavalier King Charles) and Shadow (gray rescue cat). But, don't be fooled--the cat pictured on the right is not hers but her cousin's. She's an animal whisperer...

Her passions include missions, non-profit management and ministry, hiking, art and photography, trying new foods, international justice, dancing strangely, web design, reading and writing, and "upcycling." She is a recent coffee-convert who limits herself to no more than two days a week...for now. She might need to escalate once she becomes a parent one day.
